Hey wonderful readers,happy monday! So apparently this wasn't what I was originally going to blog about but a few days ago my friend was talking about taking a casual photo shoot and I thought why not join him? And so here we are today...
I know my mum has tried to turn me into a classy balerina lady (and I love her for that )but honestly causal dressing is something that I can never go wrong with so here guys is a major casual that can be worn to almost any casual gathering from the mall to the movies to grabbing a bite with friends or a casual party.
✔The cropped camisole is a good idea if you want to look flirty and fun in a really hot weather (NIGERIAN struggles !)
✔The high waist jeans gives this nice sense of confidence and it's also a good Idea if you don't want your navel to show or if you want to tuck in a big tummy
✔I threw on the chiffon shirt to give it a chic look and make it more decent.
✔I know you can't see the foot wear (that was done purposely)but a nice black plimsoll or nice blue toms would do the trick
✔finally I threw on the face cap to give it an effortless finishing touch
Finally I'm very glad that my amazing friend decided to join me for this shoot

Therefore guys, like I promised,I'm going to be writing about what was on my hair that day...they're called fascinator hats.
Fascinator hats :
a fascinator is a head piece worn on the head ,usually mounted on a comb or band and attached to the head.
It is best worn the side or back of the head so so t doesn't block to one's whole face.fascinators are major fashion items very nice and classy plus great conversation starters too..
How to style up your fascinator hat:
1.hairstyle should be kept simple
2.keep it in proportion to your face size I.e people with bigger heads should wear larger hats.
3.honestly a fascinator might not be simple but keep it classy enough..
Places to wear your fascinator hats to:
1 . Weddings
2 . Cocktail parties
3.Tea parties
4.Art or gallery openings
Places NOT to wear your fascinator hats to:
Movie theaters ,symphony or any other place with a stadium sitting.
Wondering why? remember people can't see through your hats so it would be considered inappropriateor outright rude to wear your fascinators to such gatherings.

happy new year guys!I know,I know, It's been way too long since my last post,I've drafted too many,cancelled some and haven't published others due to Internet problems but either ways..I'm glad to be back on track (fully this time)
Today I'm not really fashion blogging (apart from my outfit) I'm going to do a bit of my 2015 epilogue and new year resolution for 2016
.....2015 was a year that truly tested my faith...at the beginning of the year i had a lot going on ..from my igcse results to my wassce exams to gaining admission into a good university ...It was incredible! many things didn't turn out the way I wanted it or how I imagined it was going to be.I stressed myself for most times unnecessary things and cared less about the important ones but towards the end of the year ,i learnt to accept rejection as one of the many things needed for success and not to let failure of any kind bring me down.Most importantly I went on a journey of self discovery and so far I have learnt to be the best version of myself and it's the stuff that comes from being myself that inspires people .All in all,GOD has proved Himself ever faithful and from 2015 I have learned these :
1.all things work together for good to those rust the Lord
2.we can't always get what we want (honestly )
3.rather than lament about how our lives isn't where we want it to be ,we should focus on our major goals and work towards achieving them..
So this year I have decided among other things:
1.to be me,do me and keep it real
2.not to measure my standards with other people's success but to use it as a motivation to do better..
3.to keep moving at my pace I.e not to rush anything or over work myself
4.to set my SMART goals and work towards achieving them
5.to be a better version of myself
6.to trust GOD and leave it all in HIS hands
7.to listen more and talk less
8.yes!I didn't forget...to bring you guys the best fashion writeups my brain can produce

Hello people! Happy Sunday..I know I promised myself not to post until exam were over but this particular Sunday is a very special one..apart from being the last Sunday of the month (which means I'll be home soon!) and thanksgiving Sunday, today is the day that my work finally came alive!..In essence, I mean that today is the Sunday the I wore my hand sewn design..before now,I just used to design and keep..then one day that little different me inside my head said "why can't you sew what to wear for Thanksgiving Sunday? "..and for some reason the more I thought about it the more excited I became,two weeks later I got materials together and started,At every stumbling block something in my head just kept asking me if I could do this and at some point wanted to just stop and forget it as one of my many silly unfinished Ideas but the fact that I had told most of my friends that I was making my outfit for Thanksgiving Sunday kept motivating me to go on and from then on I never looked back,I was determined to finish it,even when another voice in my head asked if I was in my right senses , I thought about it and i actually wasn't! Because if I was, I would be mediocre and settle for less instead of striving to finish it...long story cut short..voila!my outfit is ready,see pictures after the cut ..I hope you like it and please comment because your comments keep me going..Thank you and do have a wonderful week!
