LIFE LESSONS LEARNT IN JUNE

 Hello there beautiful people! Happy new month I'm so excited because I know that GOD has amazing plans for us this july..guess what? You made it to the seventh month of 2016!!!

Before I start, you guys know I usually don't do long inspirational talks here but I just feel inspired to share with you guys a bit of what I learnt in june..i hope it helps you!

1. BEGIN ANYWHERE: Yes guys, this is coming from someone who abandoned her blog for three months *covers face*. I had so many excuses not to continue,no camera, bad Internet connection and a host of other things I currently can't remember but guess what? Those problems are still there and you know what? I'm going to deal with it and continue because like a friend of mine told me, if you keep waiting for the perfect time, you'll never accomplish what you want to . My advice?..don't over think it,just go for it.


2.FAILING IS INEVITABLE : Thanks to my mum who got me a book on failure,  I've started to  see things differently. Guys remember, if plan A doesn't work, the 
alphabet has 25 more letters . Failing is inevitable, if you don't fail you are never going to progress unless you lived your life so carefully that it's almost as good as not living at all,so don't beat up yourself. When I don't reach a certain blog target on my blog planner, I shrug my shoulders,move it to the next month and push harder than ever before because I know that someday I'm going to look back and be proud of  how far I've come.Remember,failing at something doesn't make you a failure what makes you a failure is giving up .
 

3TAKE RISKS: like failure, without  taking a risk,you will make no progress,if you want to be at the top of your game or the best In your field, you have  to take risks . I'm taking a risk by writing this because this is my first time writing something I think will inspire people, but it's one I'm  willing to take,so next time you're about to rethink that opportunity  remember this: life itself is a risk,there is a risk of you choking on the water you drink or the food you eat,there is a risk that the roof on top  of you is going to give way or cave in and come crashing on your head (LOL) but like I said earlier,just do it.


4. DO YOUR BEST AND LEAVE THE REST FOR GOD: I cannot over emphasise this,take it from someone who used to be very paranoid,life is too short to be stressed over things beyond your control. Ask GOD for guidance, do the most you can and leave the rest to HIM.Trust me when I say HE will deal with it in  the most amazing way ever.

Hey beautiful people!.. happy new week!. So I noticed that all my recent posts were looking really serious, so I decided to do a very casual,laid pack and playful look...most of the time, I was just goofing around.



DETAILS 

Basically what Inspired this look was the weather..i mean it's hot outside ( i have an oilyskin) and I really don't want to get any hotter than I already am (no pun intended, lol).
Also , was going to a number of places which were basically casual meetings so this was definitely appropriate for me.


To add my own little pop, I threw on a big shirt and tucked  in the front part  of it  threw on cross body bag and I was good to go.

Shorts :TJ MAX
Sport shoes: coach 
Jewellery : forever 21.

Heyy beautiful people! How have you all been?.. we'll I was a bit ill earlier  this week but thank GOD I'm better now.




So today's outfit is a  blue peplum gown with lace trimmings. Which I added. This Gown gives a very flattering look a I love it. Best part? This Gown was thrifted. 
I absolutely love this look and I'll definitely wear it to church.

I'm usually inspired by the situation around me ,anything and everything fashion inspires my blog ideas.

I'm a fashion chameleon. I dress how I feel.
I would also say my personal style is work in progress,It gets better everyday.

3. If you could change a single thing about yourself what would it be? Absolutely nothing!..i'm very comfortable in my own skin.

FAKE people,cramped areas,unkempt hair and nails.


5.who and what Inspired you to start your blog?
Who? Nkechi Eze of Bella naija.
What? The fact that  I've always wanted a platform to express my self an create a niche for my passion which is fashion..(lol see what I did there?)

 6. What is your dream job?
Lol, fashion design all the way. 


7. What challenges have you faced since you started blogging?
The fact that I don't have a camera or Internet connection most times are my biggest challenges but I see them as stepping stone to reach my goal.

Hey beautiful people! How. Have you all been?..hope your week was amazing..before before start, I want to thank  everyone who keeps coming back to check this blog and for all your support..i really appreciate it.
So today's post is all about monochrome..am I the only one who thinks everything just looks better in black and 
white?..like I said in my earlier post,i haven't gotten really confident with mixing prints so for now, I just stick to what I'm comfortable with..i really love this look because the dress can be styled with basically any colour of accessories and still look great




Where I'll wear this look to?.. A wedding of course. Or a girls lunch out probably.
I 've alway imagined that weddings should have a lot of floral glory which Is why I chose this location.

Hey beautiful people!..how has your week been going?.i hope you've had a lovely time chasing your dreams..its a few minutes past one a.m and I'm here writing just because I love all my readers and I promised to give you the best my mind can bring in my new year resolution.
   Now to today's outfit, this Is casual with a bit of spice..





So I was going to the movies and I thought What better time 
Is there to wear cropped top and jeans? I mean it's summer! ( yeah I'm excited)So I threw on this combo and paired It with nude heels...you could switch up the heels for nice 
black scandals if you like. Since the weather was kind of cold, I threw on my black jumper.

Hey beautiful people!..how have you all been..vourdi is back !!. today's outfit is a casual but not so casual look..once I saw. The coloured material, I fell in love and  since I had these shorts in mind for a long time..  I grabbed the opportunity and made them. I don't like playing with colours so I toned the print down a bit with a black sheer cropped top and black heels.(i guess I have to start loving colour mixing since I'm a blogger but that'll take a while). . What Inspired this look was comfort ..i was going out and I didn't want to wear anything restricting..i hope you love it as much as I do.
